They even provided scavenger hunt activities for our kids, which was such a thoughtful touch. This is truly a family-friendly hotel that makes traveling with kids feel easy & enjoyable. I’m very particular about bathrooms, beds, & overall cleanliness, especially since I have an immunocompromised child, so this is something I don’t take lightly. Portola did not disappoint. Both the bathroom & bedroom were spotless & even better than expected in person. The bed & pillows were incredibly comfortable. The A/C worked great, & having a ceiling fan was a nice bonus touch. The photos online truly don’t do this place justice. It’s even more beautiful in person. The heated pool was a hit, & the towels felt clean and luxurious. The staff were nice! There was a tiny red spider spotted on my child’s bed, but thankfully my eldest caught it right away. Aside from that small moment, everything about our stay was superb and exceeded our expectations.
